Message - Real Life Teams: Be A Great Coach!

Today's message is about your role as a coach. Maybe not as the kid's T-Ball or soccer coach, but as an influential leader and teacher in the home, workplace or church.

Coaches are both leaders and teachers. They lead with a vision and strategy for winning. They lead with a passion of the game or sport. They lead with a confidence that the athletes can follow. They teach with a knowledge and understanding of the game or sport. They teach with excellent communication in sharing information, showing how to be successful in the skill, encouraging progress, and even in honest evaluation of where they are to where they want to be.

Questions to explore today are: What real life teams need me to be a great coach? How can I be a great coach? What are the qualities of a great coach?

We will explore two Biblical models of good coaching one in the Old Testament and on in the New Testament. We will discover 4 qualities of a good coach and how we can apply those coaching skills to our life.

The Challenge is: what areas are you doing well as a coach? What areas do you need to improve?
